WHAT WE DO
The Milman Iattract Academy is located in the heart of Kaswanga Village, Rusinga Island, Lake Victoria, Kenya.
The project was started as a responsive move to support orphans and vulnerable children in the local area.
With the dedication of our volunteers, teachers, and partners, we strive to improve the lives of everyone who needs help within the community. Contact us to see what you can do to bring about positive change!

Although money and school items tremendously help, we understand that a lot of warm-hearted people like you would prefer to donate time. We have a very special place for you here at Milman. We welcome you to stay at Rusinga Island with us to directly help with our mission.
HOW WE HELP
FEEDING PROGRAM
Your heart-warming donations are currently allocated to the feeding program which is of top priority. Our reasoning behind this is that nutrition and education together play an important role in the development of children. At least while the kids are here at Milman Academy, we can guarantee they will be fed porridge and lunch for the day. Sometimes this may be the only meal our children eat and may not have this opportunity at home.

We sincerely thank our current donors who re-started the feeding program. Previously it had to be paused due to lack of funds, which meant hungry children. It only takes pocket change to feed each child.
PROVIDING EDUCATION
Giving children an education provides them with the confidence & tools to get a job. This has such a huge, positive impact on the local community- helping students break free from a life of poverty and crime.
